What it is

When a child is unwell the details blur together — when the fever started, how high it got, which night the cough was worst. Symptom Kids is a simple log for parents to record what they are seeing, so that by the time you are sitting in front of a doctor you can give a clear account instead of a guess.

Why we're building it

Parents are asked to recall precise details during the week they are least able to. A notes app works right up until you need to look back across two weeks and find a pattern.

Who it's for

Parents and caregivers tracking a child through an illness, whether that is a week of flu or an ongoing condition.

Not a medical device

This app is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, or give medical advice, and it is not a substitute for care from a qualified professional. If you are worried about a child's health, contact a doctor.
